Going Home is written in the spirit of a pop song, with a sweet tune that builds throughout before fading away to finish. I wrote the piece in memory of my mother, Sally Webster, who passed away in 2014. For me, Going Home refers to both the joy of going home to spend time with family, and mum’s journey to whatever lies beyond. She was the ultimate supporter of my music and it is dedicated with all my love.
